Dar Darma was built in the XVIII century and is situated in the old quarter of Moqf in the heart of the Medina. A few steps from the Museum of Marrakech, the Koranic school Ben Youssef and close to the famous square Jemaa El Fna, the riad is the ideal starting point for discovering the beauties of the city.
It covers an area of approximately 1,200 m2, offering absolute privacy and an atmosphere of great elegance. Recently renovated, Dar Darma has been restored preserving the valuable elements decorating the interiors as the hand-painted wooden ceilings, the delighful plasterwork and the precious ancient portals.
At guests' disposal 4 luxurious suites and 2 apartments: rooms with fireplace, one or two bedrooms with private bathroom and all comfort. The spacious rooms, the traditional hammam, terraces with shaded lounges, swimming pool and a spectacular view of the city complete the offer of the dwelling.
Faithful to the architectural tradition Moroccan Dar Darma features a patio with central bath and a shaded area of green plants, located in the two central parts of the building. Facing the shaded patio, embellished with fine furnishings and simple combinations of colors, the lounges and dining areas are perfect places to relax, read or listen to music, taste the delicacies of the cuisine prepared by chef of Dar Darma.
The Terraces offer endless and panoramic views over the rooftops of the Medina, from the Koutubia, to the Palace Dar Bacha till the Atlas mountains. Furnished with sofas shaded areas and sunbeds, the terraces feauture a swimming pool, a refreshing bath and a shower.
The Hammam of Dar Darma, the traditional Moroccan bath is composed by two rooms of different temperatures, dressing room adjacent.
Dar Darma is not a traditional hotel, rather a private palace that offers a personalized service and never formal. Out of standard and full of personality, is an ideal place for the most demanding travelers looking for exclusivity, privacy and comfort.
