Dar Batma is a property originally designed as a small country villa. It was built by and served as residence of famous Moroccan architect Elie Mouyal. Recently acquired by a French couple, Dar Batma has been transformed it into a luxury family villa of 7+2 bedrooms. It is nestled in the heart of a large park in the palm grove of Marrakech, 15 minutes from the city center.

Dar Batma is a charming escape with several courtyards, garden areas and terraces offering plenty of lounge space and intimate corners. A seguia (small irrigation canal) runs quietly in the vast garden bursting with flowers, fruit trees and colors. Having lunch on the terrace under the shade of olive trees is a heavenly moment.

The villa accommodates four large suites with ensuite bathroom. Three of them are located around the primary courtyard of the house and have direct access to a hidden and preserved garden area. The fourth bedroom is set in the adjacent tower and has been designed as a private apartment a with a beautiful terrace overlooking Marrakech palmeraie.

There are 4 double bedrooms around the secondary courtyard, sharing two bathrooms. On the first floor there is a lovely small single room in front of which stretches a beautiful fig tree.

Interior living areas are very pleasant and comfortable offering fireplaces, large sofas and reading chairs. They are carefully decorated with local crafts, luxury rugs, classic and oriental paintings.

A small natural swimming pool fed by the seguia provides refuge for guests in search of calm. The second large swimming pool, down in the park has a large pergola where you can have lunches and dinners.

The staff is efficient and discreet and includes a caretaker, cook, maid and gardener.

Nous avons fait une grande réunion familiale a Dar Batma. Plusieurs générations! Tout le monde a été très content du choix!
La maison est absolument charmante! Son architecture et tous les détails son très interessants. Les chambres à coucher et les salles de bains sont très belles et très soignées. Des fleurs partout! Peut etre le grand living room le soir pourrait avoir davantage de lumière!
