Dar Chelita has been featured in Elle Décor and several other international magazines. It is situated next to the Katoubia mosque and the Djemaa el Fna square. It has a refreshing simplicity and is the perfect retreat for the busy urban visitor.

Original artworks from African and European artists adorn the walls with a mixture of traditional and contemporary furniture. Three en-suite double rooms and one further double with access to a bathroom across the hall comfortably sleeps 8 adults. One of the bedroom can be turned into an independant studio with kitchenette.

The property has a sitting room looking onto a courtyard of white bougainvillea and a splendid and comfortable roof top terrace. An wifi internet connection is available from the terrace.

Dar Chelita has a housekeeper/cook along with a full time caretaker. Our secretary will also take care of all of your transportation, restaurant, and excursion bookings.
The riad has easy access to the main thoroughfare where you can hail taxi’s and Kaleshes (horse drawn carriages).

It is also near Dar Moha, Topsil, and several of the best restaurants in Marrackech.

Finally, the Hotel Jardin de Katoubia is a stone’s throw away where indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hammams and massage facilities await you along with three excellent restaurants and a piano bar.

We really have enjoyed our stay in Dar Chelita. Driss and the cooks made us feel at home, they were really nice and welcoming! Dar Chelita was a very nice place to stay, well decorated and well located. The breakfast could be somewhat more extended as far as we were concerned.

L'accueil dans ce riad est excellent. Propreté très bien. Nous avons juste été déçu à l'arrivée, nous ne savions pas que la 4° chambre était un studio excentré du riad dans lequel des enfants ne pouvaient pas dormir seuls pour des raisons de sécurité, mais grâce au personnel nous avons pû transporter des matelas et nous organiser. Pas de salle de bains attenante à la chambre du bas, nous avions un couple de personnes agées, ça été difficile pour eux de monter les escaliers. L'emplacement du riad est génial aussi.

Sin duda lo recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera alojarse en una autentica casa en la medina de marrakech y que quiera huir de la despersonalizacion de los hoteles pero con todas las comodidades de estos. Perfeta su localizacion a solo un minuto a pie de la plaza Jemma El Fna y perfecto el trato del personal. Destacar su excelente cocinera que todas las noches nos preparaba una estupenda cena marroqui que nos servian en el salon junto a la chimenea. Totalmente recomendable.

It might seem a bit odd to score excellent on all items, but lowering the score on any item just seems wrong. From when we were picked up at the airport until we left we could always rely on the staff to provide excellent service. The dinner we got served at the riad was without a doubt the highlight of our stay - superb food and service! I have already recommended VillaNovo for my friends, and will continue to do so for people travelling to Marrakech.
