Riad Awa is an ancient house of the medina of Marrakech transformed into a contemporary riad. The riad was decorated by Ludovic Petit. It is located in the Kasbah of Marrakech, within short walking distance of the place Jaama el Fna.
Martine and Henri own and manage this small hotel with passion and care.
The riad offers 6 bedrooms opening onto the courtyard. Each bedroom has a unique decoration, boasting high-end equipment: bathrobes, hair dryer, body products, reversible air conditioning and wifi.
The ground floor of the courtyard accommodates a lounge area, a dining room and a beautiful hammam and massage room. On the first floor of riad Awa, you will enjoy sitting in front of the open carved fireplace having a drink or reading a book.
The roof-terrace space is designed to sunbathe or to relax under the large lounge tents admiring the skyline of Marrakech and the view on the Atlas mountains.

Riad muy acogedor, un oasis en pleno centro de la Kabad, especialmente por el calor que nos hizo. La dueña y el personal que nos atendieron muy amables. Volveremos.

Henri and his team were excellent - always on hand to answer queries and look after our group of 14 girls. We would definitely recommend this riad to others.

Riad AWA was amazing! Beautiful decor married with a lovely staff. Henri the owner is a pleasure and Mohammed who also works at the Riad is a genuine treat.
I am a 44 year old professional woman from Canada who has never travelled to Morocco before, and I must say my experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend Riad AWA. The location was great. There is a lovely roof top terrace where you can have your breakfast or just lie up there any time of day to get out of the blazing sun of Marrakech. It is expecially intoxicating to hear the prayers while relaxing on the terrace. A definate must see, I will return to the Riad AWA upon my next trip to Morocco.
