Dar Beida is a beautiful 4 bedroom house situated at the back of Essaouira’s fortified medina with the food markets pretty much on your door step and approximately a 10 minute walk to essaouira’s long sandy beach.
Dar Beida means 'The White House'. Here, among the souks in the ancient Medina you’ll find this delightful house reflecting the diversity and charm of this magical town in its own way. Graham and Emma have assembled around the pure white walls an eclectic collection of traditional furniture, carpets and artworks which they mix together with European 20th-century classic pieces.
The house is cleaned every day during your stay and traditional moroccan food can be prepared for you by the cook for a modest 10 € fee. Included in prices : A fruit basket, Tea, coffee, water, milk etc for your arrival, complimentary locally made argan soap. Firewood. There is also a huge selection of books, c.d’s and board games for your use while staying at Dar Beida.
Exclusive to Dar Beida are complimentary babouche (Moroccan slippers) for each client (staying for a minimum of 1 week). An information pack with a restaurant guide, information on Hammams, horse riding, quad biking etc.
