Assala is located next to the Ben Youssef Medersa and 5 minutes away from the Jaama El Fna square.
This property is composed of two riads : One was built in 17th century and offers to its guest a magnificent heritage of hand-painted wooden doors and sculpted plasters. The other courtyard was renovated with a contemporary touch. At Assala, you will taste the perfect marriage of oriental and western culture.
There are 6 rooms of which one is ideally accomodated for 3 children. There is the comfort and equipment you may require including a choice of air conditioned room for hot summer times and fireplaces in some rooms for chilly winter nights.
You can choose to relax near or in the pool, on the terraces under the sun ou in the shade of the Touareg tent set up on the roof terrace.

Great location, GREAT staff. They were very warm, welcoming and helpful. Although they didn't speak very much English, they were trying their best to communicate with us. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend this place to anyone. I could have just stayed at this riad and not seen the city at all and still would've had a great time in Marrakech. I was very happy with my choice.
VillaNovo was a very trustworthy site. The riad that I selected first was full and could not make a reservation, so VillaNovo recommended another riad with a similar location/price as the first one. I ended up staying at the riad that was recommended, and I was very satisfied with the place. I would use this site again and definitely recommend it to other guests. I think it will be helpful if there was a map of the city and had all the villas/riads on the map to clarify the location of each hotel on one map. Since location was my first priority, I had to check up each hotel's location one by one. My second priority was riads with two twin beds and running hot water, but the site didn't have the option to pull out all the hotels with the factors I was looking for. It would be faster and easier if I could rank them in the order of distance from landmark, bed numbers, etc. But overall, it was very helpful and clear.

Sinceramente abbiamo dirottato la nostra scelta su un Riad con Hammam, ma non ci è stato possibile in quanto non proposto.
Nel complesso il soggiorno presso il Riad Assala è stato gradevole.

Unica nota negativa: ci era stato consigliato come Riad con Hammam interno, e solo per questo è stato scelto pagando €35/giorno a camera (utilizzata come singola) in più rispetto ad altre proposte che non avessero il servizio... l'hammam non c'è o comunque, anche dopo espilcita richiesta, non ci è stato reso disponibile.
