This historic building was part of a Kalif’s palace built around 1750. Once through the door of Chelita a corridor leads you to two riads that can be rented together or separately. The riad is situated next to the Katoubia mosque and the Djemaa el Fna square.
Pass through the threshold of the main riad and you are transported into an inner sanctuary of flowing fountains, cool shade, and the rustle of palm, banana, orange and lemon trees. Riad Chelita II is a spectacular riad with an understated mix of European and Moroccan décor.
Riad Chelita II can comfortably sleep 10 adults. This riad has 6 bedrooms. 1 bedroom may sleep 2 children in a double bed and 2 other bedrooms share a same bathroom.
Staff includes a cook, a maid and a caretaker to ensure that your needs both in and out of the house are attended to. Also, a house secretary who is fluent in French, English and Arabic is available to arrange all excursions, taxis and reservations you may require during your stay. A roof terrace, with views overlooking Marrakech, offers an escape for lazy days in the sun.
There are two reception rooms and a dining room. Wireless internet is available for those who travel with wi-fi enabled devices.
