Dar Maha is an authentic Kasbah style house, entirely built in dry stones. The villa is situated within a wooded area, a protected argania tree grove next to the village of El Ghazoua, a mere 2km from the sea, 7km from Essaouira airport and 8km from Essaouira’s Medina (Old town).

Room, Ground level. The bedroom has 3 Beds including 1 double bed 160 cm, 2 single beds. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. separate WC room. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.

Room 3
Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed 160 cm. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. separate WC room. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.

Room 4
Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed 160 cm. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. separate WC room. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.

Room 5
Master bedroom, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed 180 cm. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. separate WC room. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.

Note: rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating.


Indoors and outdoors

The outside walls, coated with a mix of straw and lime, combined with the massive columns, embedded with ocean pebbles, are the witnesses of a subtle combination between the local countryside regional style and reminders of the immediate vicinity of the Atlantic Ocean.

Two traditional fountains with very clean lines give a specific atmosphere to the inside atriums and lead the visitor into flowered trails reaching a heated pool area (15 metres x 5 metres) and a petanque.
A 160 m² sundeck terrace offers a view over the inside gardens with their olive tree, argania tree, and palm trees.

A new covered terrace so called “jardin d’hiver"with fire place, adjoining the patio, allows to have a drink or play a game when the evening are a bit cool.

Dar Maha offers a breakfast service (cost of ingredients not included) and daily cleaning in the morning.
For lunch or dinner, the villa can provide the services of a chef (preparation of the meal for all guests, plus shopping).
