The star of the Greek islands is Mykonos with its sparkling houses, typical windmills, beaches of dreams, but also its tumultuous life. SANTORINI

This island is an unmistakable Cycladic because Santorini is the most known and most typical island. You certainly know its famous white houses and coloured roofs that look like a dream. You should know that part of the island was swallowed during a volcanic eruption, which suggests that the beauty of the island was even more striking in the past. However, without this misadventure, Santorini would not be the sublime place that we know today, a true Greek paradise from which emerges a gentle and pure atmosphere.
Stroll through the bright city of Fira's colourful lanes or lose yourself on the hiking trails that leave from the capital of the island and wind through the wild landscapes to Oia.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Delos is a city-museum where you will find ruins of sanctuaries as well as temples from the time of Antiquity. Formerly, it was perceived as the centre of the Cycladic Archipelago. Do not miss a visit to the house of Cleopatra, Dionysus and the Trident. Without forgetting the terrace of the lions, which shows the contrast between the wild nature and the ancient constructions.
One of Delos' anecdotes is that during the classical period, deaths and births were banned on the island because of its sacredness. Thus, the persons concerned were displaced to the neighbouring island. Today only a few archaeologists have permission to sleep on this small island of 7km².
