For the most curious children, you will always find something to satisfy their curiosity and their desire to learn. The Cyclades are filled with cultural places more interesting than the others. Here is a list of some places to visit with your children for an exquisite time immersed in the culture.
> The ruins of Delos: it is a must visit during a stay in the Cyclades. On an island that is no longer inhabited, you will find sublime ruins to contemplate. It is worth noting that this island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
> Marble Museum in Tinos: If the children want to understand how the economic life of the Cyclades worked, but also marvel at one of the arts of this country, go to the Tinos Marble Museum. They will be able to follow the process of extraction, to the creation of extraordinary sculptures.
> The old town of Naxos: this city is full of charm and authenticity. Children will be amazed at the beauty and character of this area of Naxos. Do not hesitate to stop by the small shops that populate the old town to buy souvenirs and small typical gifts for your children.
> The Church of Ekatontapiliani in Paros: known as the 100-door Church, the splendour of the building will surely surprise your children. It is one of the oldest Christian churches in the world. Do not hesitate to visit the museum as it only costs 2 € and better understand the history of the construction of this museum.
You will find in our other guides the list of the most beautiful beaches to visit in the Cyclades. So, depending on where you are, you will always find a beach on which you can put your towel down with your family and enjoy the sun. On the programme is the construction of sand castles, swimming in the blue waters or even snorkeling to admire the seabed and the colourful inhabitants.
For a more original beach from which you can enjoy diving, we advise you to go to the beach of Sarakiniko in Milos. The lunar decoration of this beach, with its large polished white rocks, offer the most reckless children an infinite playing field under the surveillance, however, of the parents.
Children will enjoy walking around the big cities that make up the Cyclades. On the programme: entertainment in the main streets, shopping in the main shopping centres and traditional shops, meals in delicious restaurants... a family day full of discoveries, ideal to soak up Cycladic culture.
