The best places to eat in cool Guéliz

+61

The interior design of this elegant establishment is an invitation to discover the timeless style of Morocco combined with the bistro spirit of the last century. The décor features a huge, ornate staircase and art deco motifs - palm leaves, beamed ceilings, marble and checked floors - that create a roaring twenties feel. In the evening, the chic brasserie atmosphere becomes more intimate with soft lighting, white tablecloths, exotic oriental music mixed with jazz and candlelit dining. The menu, made up of delicious French bistro classics, includes the popular Niçoise salad, garnished with a perfect boquerone. In addition, the service is excellent and the wine list includes some particularly good Moroccan options, the Val d'Argan Rosé being our favourite.

On their menu, they offer mixed salads and Moroccan cuisine with a twist. We personally recommend you try their classic hummus and carrot hummus with olive oil, which are both absolutely delicious.

Trendy restaurants offering a unique luxury experience

Bô zin

On the road to the Ourika valley stand the ochre walls of the Bô-zin, an attractive restaurant that invites you to spend a unique evening in an exceptional musical atmosphere. The restaurant has several separate areas offering distinct atmospheres. The interior room with its fireplace provides a sober and warm atmosphere. Then there is the pergola, cooled by fans and mists, which offers a natural extension to the room - an ideal indoor-outdoor space whatever the season. Finally, the exotic garden reveals lush pools and summer lounges for a precious moment, a mix of Zen spirit and luxury. The menu takes you on a journey around the world with a wide range of flavours such as teriyaki salmon back, couscous, steamed starters and much more. In addition, the bar offers exquisite cocktails that can be enjoyed alongside the sounds of the resident DJ. It's little wonder that Bô zin has become one of the most popular venues in the city!

Ling Lin, Mandarin Oriental

Inspired by the popular oriental concept of the izakaya - popular restaurants in Asia that offer traditional Cantonese small plates to share - at Ling, food is served to accompany drinks, rather than the other way around. With drinking, dining and dancing to the fore, Ling embraces the DNA of the Hakkasan firm to create an experience that reflects and complements the beautiful Moroccan surroundings.
