Welcome to Casa Caminha, a unique complex of three small rustic houses, carefully renovated by the architect Álvaro Siza and surrounded by a beautiful garden and orchard. Located in a peaceful setting near Moledo, in the north of Portugal, this rural tourism complex is designed to offer you a relaxing and comfortable stay. Enjoy privileged access to the garden, terraces and beautiful swimming pool, as well as outdoor areas with stone tables and benches, perfect for enjoying a meal al fresco.

Note: the main house has 2 bedrooms while the other two houses have one bedroom each.

Indoors & Outdoors

Each of the houses has a warm, rustic feel, with a decorating style that enhances the authenticity of the place while adding a modern, comfortable touch.

The main house (150m²) has two bright living rooms with sofas, a dining table, a kitchenette, a TV and a fireplace, as well as a balcony with table and chairs offering a spectacular view of the landscape. It can accommodate 4 people.
The other two houses (40m² and 25m²) also have comfortable sitting areas, one bedroom and one bathroom each. One of the two houses has a kitchen area, while the other has only a space for making tea or coffee. Both houses can accommodate 2 people.

The real highlight of Casa Caminha is undoubtedly its outdoor spaces. Surrounded by a lush garden and orchard, the property offers private terraces for each house, as well as a unique and beautiful pool that is accessible to all residents. Take advantage of the sun loungers and stone benches dotted around the lawn to relax in the sun or read a good book in the shade of the trees. The stone terraces are also ideal for outdoor dining and gatherings with friends and family.

Location

The property is ideally located close to Moledo (15 minutes), in the north of Portugal.
Just a few minutes drive from the beach of Moledo (15 minutes) and Caminha (10 minutes) and the charming historical towns of Viana do Castelo (35 minutes) and Caminha (5 minutes), you will have the opportunity to discover the beauty of the region while enjoying the tranquillity of your holiday home.

Rental conditions

- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using hot tub, pool, sauna or hammam
- Children welcome
- It is not allowed to organise events in the property without prior approval by Villanovo
- No safety fence around the pool
- Pets not allowed
- Pool has no swimming guard
- Smoking is not allowed inside the house
- The house must be returned in the same condition of check in. Otherwise fees can be charged to the customer.
- Language spoken by staff : English - French - Spanish - Portuguese
- Check-in : 16:00 h - Check out : 10:00 h
- Amount of security deposit : 500.00 EUR
- Security deposit must be paid in the form of : Credit card pre-authorization (amount is not debited from your card)

Reservation conditions

- Guarantee deposit charged by Villanovo upon reservation : 40 %
- 2nd payment 45 Days to arrival day : 60 % of total amount of reservation is due to Villanovo.
- The reservation price does not include optional incidentals or on-request items which will be added to your final bill.

Cancellation policy and cancellation fees

- Any booking modification or cancellation must be sent to us by email
- Cancellation policy is applied according to villa local time
- For all cancellations, the initial guarantee deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellation occurs less than 45 Days to arrival day : 100 % of total amount of reservation is due to Villanovo.
- No show 100 % of total amount of reservation is due to Villanovo
