Its owner, Alain, has been living in Marrakech for over a decade. After owning one of the most renowned villas in the area, he chose to build his own personal haven, where family, nature and comfort come together. “The project lasted two years,” he explains. “And we kept evolving the vision along the way.”
Designed by Studio Beja-Pujol, a Parisian architecture firm, Villa d’Ô features expansive volumes, open spaces, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the exteriors. One of the key architectural elements is the contemporary fireplace in the 100 m² living room, where guests can gather around a giant screen for movie nights or share long evenings with friends. Every photo of the villa reflects this balance between bold design and inviting comfort.
The structure honours Moroccan construction methods : adobe walls, traditional ironwork, hand-finished walnut, and local stone while embracing a timeless, international aesthetic. The interiors blend Cassina furniture, artisan pieces, and curated objects sourced from Marrakech’s best workshops. The living room opens directly onto the inner courtyard and garden, where a 400-year-old olive tree, found 200 km away, anchors the property in majestic calm.
Each bedroom opens onto a private terrace or patio, offering a sense of serenity and personal space. All rooms are equipped with convenience air conditioning, safety fence options for families, and a safe deposit box for valuables.
Villa d’O's landscaped garden extends toward the distant peaks of the Atlas Mountains, with large water basins, shaded areas and an outdoor swimming pool designed for both summer sun and Moroccan winter light. The home was designed to blur the line between inside and out, allowing constant access to the garden, whether from the living room, suites or terraces.
