Villa Agouni

Villa Agouni is located 12 km from Essaouira, close to kitesurfing and surfing spots, the superb Mogador golf course, the airport and the authentic medina. Perfect for couples, families, sports enthusiasts and dreamers, it can accommodate 8 adults and 4 children. You will appreciate its tranquillity, outdoor spaces, heated swimming pool and proximity to Agadir and Marrakech (2½ hours). Four kilometres away, you can reach a deserted golden sandy beach bordered by a string of dunes via a track winding through the juniper trees. In the 4,000 m² enclosed garden surrounding the 10 m x 4 m heated swimming pool (heated from April to the end of October), you can admire cacti, bougainvilleas, jasmine, olive trees, eucalyptus trees and argan trees.


Bedrooms

The villa comprises four independent bedrooms/suites, each of which includes: a lounge area with armchairs, a wood-burning stove and one single bed; a bathroom with bath or shower; a toilet; a wardrobe; and a private terrace. Each room can accommodate two or three people, meaning the villa can sleep a maximum of eight adults and four children.

Indoors 

The villa's architecture is inspired by the traditional buildings of southern Morocco. Designed by a Moroccan architect, this 300 m² villa is conceived as a small medina, with its lanes, patios and numerous lounges and terraces. Built entirely of solid stone, with eucalyptus beams, bamboo ceilings and tadelakt, it offers a warm, authentic atmosphere. The interior decoration is also unique, with authentic pieces such as bronzes and pottery.
The house is organised around three open-air patios connected by a corridor leading to the television lounge, library lounge, music lounge, dining room, entrance hall, kitchens and bedrooms.

The villa's rooms are divided into 4 suites, each offering a private lounge, terrace, modern bathroom with Italian shower and all the necessary amenities. The living rooms are also equipped with a sofa that converts into a single bed, which can accommodate up to 12 people (8 adults and 4 children maximum). The suites are comfortable and tastefully decorated, offering a private resting space for each guest.

Outdoors​ 

The outside of Villa Agouni is just as charming, with a beautiful swimming pool (10x4m) and its south-facing terrace, offering a magnificent view over the 4,000 m² wooded garden. The garden is a veritable floral paradise, with flowers and trees blooming all year round thanks to Essaouira's exceptional climate. You can relax in the shade of mimosa and pepper trees, while eucalyptus trees protect the region's emblematic olive and argan trees.

Shaded terraces are also available to enjoy sunny days.


Staff & Services

In terms of services, the villa offers dedicated staff who will be happy to assist you throughout your stay. You can enjoy a daily cleaning service of the living area. The swimming pool and terraces are maintained daily.

For your meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), the villa offers:

• The ‘En liberté’ package: You do the shopping and pay for the groceries*. The house staff will cook with the ingredients you have purchased. The cook prepares the meals and serves them at the table.

*If you wish, you can also use a courier service for the price of the delivery.

Location

Villa Agouni is located in a hamlet 15 minutes from Essaouira. You'll discover the authenticity of the region as you stroll past goats, camels, donkeys and oxen. The villa also offers breathtaking views of the town and the sea, just 4 km from magnificent sandy beaches bordered by a string of dunes.
