Indoors
The riad, tastefully restored and decorated in 2023, will immerse you in its chic, authentic world. Bright during the day, with a beautiful patio opening onto the blue Marrakchi sky, and subtly lit in the evening, through its wall niches, like a palace from a thousand and one nights, you will feel a deep sense of well-being that will make you forget any notion of time! And, to add to your fabulous stay, its carefully selected olfactory identity will make you want to stay in each of its rooms:
- Ground floor:
- an entrance hall with storage space (wardrobe and shoe racks).
- a large patio serving as a dining room with space for 8 guests around a beautiful modern table.
- an air-conditioned bhou, adjoining the patio, corresponding to the main lounge with comfortable seating for 8 and a coffee table.
- a secondary air-conditioned lounge, accessible through an attractive glass door, seating 6 and equipped with a home cinema video projector with motorised screen. This secondary lounge can easily be converted into a closed bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and separate WC, if required.
- a fully-equipped kitchen (washing machine and tumble dryer, fridge with freezer, oven, microwave, hob, small electrical appliances, etc.).
- a WC that can be used for overnight guests.
- 1st floor:
- a passageway leading down to the ground floor patio and giving access to the riad's 3 other bedrooms.
- the 3 other closed bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom and separate WC.
- 2nd floor:
- a fully-equipped summer kitchen (plancha, hob, 2 fridges, small appliances, etc.) opening onto the terrace, offering a small bar area with 2 stools and a beautiful dining table for 8 people.
- outdoor terrace with 3 deckchairs, 2 parasols and low tables.
- a private, heated Bali stone swimming pool (3m x 2m x 95 cm).
- a relaxation area by the pool with 2 poufs and a coffee table.
- a Wifi-accessible Sonos sound system, so you can tune into your own world of music.
- the entire floor is unoverlooked, so absolute discretion is guaranteed!
Outdoors
After a lively stroll through the heart of the Medina, come back and relax on the terrace of the riad, with its bougainvillea in bloom and the sound of birdsong. With its 3 deckchairs, the terrace will not only help you relax, but also help you get a suntan.
In addition to the parasols at your disposal, a refreshing drink will be most welcome from the bar in the summer kitchen or in the relaxation area by the private Bali stone pool.
A beautiful table seating 8, protected from the sun, will allow you to all gather around an authentic and convivial meal, or a lighter salad, concocted in the adjoining open kitchen and accompanied by music that you can easily control.
Your privacy will be completely respected here, as the only thing you'll be able to see is the little songbirds of Marrakech, which sometimes don't hesitate to come and say hello to you on the riad's patio.
Staff & Services
Because every minute of your stay should be magical, forget the constraints and concentrate on the essentials. Our attentive house staff will take care of the rest!
A qualified team is at your service. The on-site cook also takes care of housekeeping. The riad offers top-of-the-range services included in the price, such as breakfasts served in the indoor patio or on the terrace, afternoon snacks, a variety of teas, sweet treats before bedtime and unlimited mineral water.
Guests are not permitted to use the kitchens but, in addition to the Moroccan breakfasts included, the cook can prepare delicious lunches and/or dinners. Meals must be arranged with the cook the day before, after breakfast.
Price of meals, 3 courses, served at the riad (to be paid in advance) :
- €25 per person, per meal (excluding drinks).
Finally, as we also want your stay at the riad to be a relaxing and revitalising experience, we offer soothing massages given by local professionals who will come to the riad with all the necessary equipment. Let our team pamper you!
Location
Ideally located in one of the best areas of Marrakech's Medina ("Kasbah"), next to the Royal Palace of King Mohamed VI, the riad Annour is around 10 minutes' walk from the Koutoubia and the famous Jemaa el-Fna square.
The Saadian Tombs and the El Badi Palace are just a 5-minute walk away. With a host of traditional shops, a beautiful morning market selling fruit, vegetables and local produce, and authentic restaurants with terraces, this secure district is as lively during the day as it is peaceful in the evening, allowing you to stroll around and enjoy a timeless Marrakech.
Last but not least, the riad offers easy access thanks to its proximity to a taxi rank and a small car park, so you can be dropped off just 50 metres from the riad and, if you wish, have a prime spot for a compact hire car (Renault Clio or smaller).
