Charming villa, at the top of an olive grove, 5 ensuite bedrooms, stunning views of the Lure Mountain and foothills of the Alps, heated swimming pool
Nestled at the top of an olive grove with its impressive view of the Lure mountain, Villa Rosella comfortably accommodates up to 11 guests for an unforgettable stay in a valley completely preserved from human degradation, on the crest of the Park National Luberon.
This charming house has been recently restored. It now includes a heated swimming pool, 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. It constitutes an idyllic place for the holidays in the calmest place of Provence.
It stands alongside a valley protected by the Luberon National Park, in the heart of a magnificent landscape. Villa Rosella mixes tradition and modern comfort. Its recent restoration was carried out using traditional methods, from the original stone walls, heavy wooden doors, ceilings floors, interlocking tiles ... The whole is integrated into an entirely natural setting, and the house enjoys a surprising view of the Lure mountain and the foothills of the Alps, where the calm is extraordinary.
On the ground floor :
- First bedroom: 3 single beds (90 cm), TV, fully equipped bathroom (double sink, shower, toilet), and a private terrace
- Second bedroom: luxury suite - King size bed (180 cm), TV, desk, built-in wardrobe, fully equipped bathroom (with double sink, shower, bathtub, and separate toilet), and a private terrace.
- Third bedroom: Queen size bed (160 cm), built-in wardrobe, armchair, equipped shower room (sink, shower and toilet), and a private terrace.
- Fourth bedroom: two single beds (90 cm), wardrobe, fitted bathroom (shower, sink and toilet), and a spectacular view.
- Fifth bedroom: independent access, Queen size bed (160 cm), wardrobe, and a bathroom equipped with shower, sink and toilet.
Note: Although the fifth bedroom is on the first floor, access is only from the outside.
The entrance is on the ground floor. On the left is a utility room. This room contains a sink, tumble dryer and washing machine. To the right is the large dining room, with a wooden table (for 12 people), a fireplace and television. Going straight through the entrance hall, you come to the toilet on the left, and then into a very spacious living room. This has sofas, satellite TV, an armchair, and another very beautiful fireplace. The living room opens onto a terrace.
An aesthetic and fully equipped kitchen, as well as a dining area stand out from the dining room proper. The kitchen equipment includes a fridge, a freezer, 2 sinks, a toaster, a microwave oven, a stove, a coffee maker, an oven and a wardrobe. The kitchen dining area opens to the outdoors, including a pretty arbor and an outdoor table.
On this floor, there is also a first bedroom, with 3 single beds and a fitted bathroom.
The remaining four bedrooms are on the first floor. Originally, there is enough space to place 3 double beds and equipped bathrooms. Two of them have their own terrace. The last bedroom has independent access.

Perched at the top of a wooded hill, surrounded by a fully preserved landscape, the house has three terraces overlooking the valley, which allows splendid views. Each of the terraces has been designed according to the external conditions, so that the guests can enjoy either the sun or the night, according to their wish and the time of day.
The gardens were designed by the landscape architect Jean-Noël Capart.
The large swimming pool, heated, gives an impressive view on a magnificent olive grove, and is surrounded by a terrace equipped with sun loungers and parasols.
The swimming pool is heated between May 15 and September 28, it can be heated outside of these periods for a supplement to be determined according to the period.
To enjoy and have a good time with family or friends, there are: a pétanque area, a ping-pong table and a garden kitchen.
There are also many paths for you to walk in the surrounding hills.
The path to the house is relatively chaotic. However, 4WD vehicles are not allowed. Guests must therefore drive carefully.
The house is about an hour and a half from the cities of Aix-en-Provence and Avignon.
Simiane-la-Rotonde, the "city of character", is one of the closest villages (5 km) and could well become one of the most beautiful mountain villages in Haute Provence. We must thank its high altitude (600 to 700 meters) thanks to which the village benefits from a reprieve from the temperatures of a summer sun. For years, Simiane was the regional capital of lavender, and remains an important production center even today. A traditional music festival takes place every summer, from mid-July to mid-August.
Banon, the village made famous for its goat cheese wrapped in dried chestnut leaves and tied with a raffia ribbon, is 9 kilometers away.
Every Saturday morning a small market takes place in Apt, a small town which has shops, supermarkets and is 20 kilometers, or about 30 minutes by car.
Most of the most famous villages in the Luberon are easily accessible by car (40 to 50 minutes): Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Ménerbes ...
