This modern building is located 10 minutes walk from the main and Gornergrat train stations and 8 minutes from the Sunnegga metro and ski bus departure point. It is in a quiet and residential area with excellent local amenities (restaurants / take aways) and only a short walk along the pretty riverside to the bustling resort centre.
The apartment is in an elevated position (120 steps from street level), is on two levels and comfortably sleeps 7-8 people.
Bedrooms
It comprises, 1 twin room and one single /small double, on the ground floor with one bathroom (shower/WC) and a separate toilet, spacious twin and double rooms on the 1st floor with one bathroom (WC/Shower and Jacuzzi bath).

It has a modern well equipped kitchen leading into the living /dining area which is light and comfortable with luxurious modern furnishings.
There is a south facing balcony with beautiful views of the Matterhorn and surrounding areas. The apartment is equipped with a washer and dryer, plasma television with cable channels, DVD, iPod Dock, CD/Radio and Internet connection.

Amazing house, fantastic view, and great location. This house has it all. About 600 meters from the Sunnegga Express it is an easy walk to the lift. The stairs are a bit of a workout in the thin air, but the view of the Matterhorn is unreal. Combine all of this with great hosts that organized grocery purchases, ski school, and transit in/out of the village it couldn’t be a better property. My only advice is to update the images on Airbnb to truly do the place justice!
The apartment is absolutely lovely (it felt like home immediately), the view beyond spectacular, and is well worth the many steps. Stuart is a friendly and helpful host, and provides lots of local information. We had an incredible family Christmas (Stuart provided some lovely touches) and hope to come back again.
My family and I visited Zermatt in December so Zermatt was a winter wonderland. We took a taxi from the train station to the apartment, waked a few flights of stairs and opened up the apartment to see the most stunning views of the village and mountains. My family is young and fit so we didn’t mind the stairs but with the altitude you may find the air thin and crisp. The apartment is beautifully appointed. Very clean. Was greeted with a fruit platter. Within walking distance is a shop to purchase food, drinks etc. re-use your shopping bad as Zermatt is pretty keen on recycling.
You won’t be disappointed if staying at this apartment.
