World-renowned Zermatt architect Heinz Julen designed this 206 m² attic duplex apartment. With its wood-burning fireplace nestling in the middle of the living room's bay window and his own furniture creations (his famous chandeliers and chairs), this apartment has been featured in numerous design magazines.

Indoors & Outdoors

Airy thanks to its glass roofs, this apartment offers panoramic views of the village and the Mischabels massif. It's a two-minute walk to the top of the Hotel Omnia elevators, for which you'll have a key. The bottom of the elevator takes you to the center of Zermatt, on the main street near the church.
On the main floor: large living room with three separate relaxation areas, dining room, open kitchen and two terraces. There are also two double bedrooms with wooden ceilings at either end of this floor. Each bedroom has its own shower room/wc, television and balcony.
The top floor features the master bedroom with a separate circular Jacuzzi bath, glass ceiling, superb views and separate shower and wc.
On the first floor is the fourth double bedroom with its own massage shower/wc: private glazed sauna, wellness room with "treadmill" and two sun loungers.

The apartment features all modern comforts: large flat-screen LCD TV with DVD and cable channels, stereo, laptop with free WiFi internet access, well-equipped kitchen and private sauna. Created by Heinz Julen as his home, it is filled with his original designs. Its hilltop location offers spectacular views, yet easy access to the village center.

The chalet can be rented according to 3 options (prices vary):

 

* Our staff have one day off per week. For this day, continental breakfast will be prepared for you the day before.

 

* Our staff have one day off per week. On this day, we will reserve a restaurant of your choice. Continental breakfast will be prepared for you the evening before.

Please note: in summer (14/04 to 22/11), the chalet is only available as self-catering accommodation.

Very central location, access from the main street with elevator, 3 minutes' walk from the village center, 10 minutes from the Matterhorn Express or Gornergrat lifts.
