In summary
Chalet Frozen Fire is one of our four unique - and very rare - Zermatt residences : a luxurious free standing three storey independent chalet with 4 bedrooms, large enough for families or groups eight. All the beds can be configured as doubles or twins. Its location provides the best of both worlds: spectacular views and easy access. Side by side, tucked against a beautiful hillside, the numerous balconies and large terraces give you bird's eye views of the village and the surrounding mountains, encompassing all three of Zermatt's ski areas.

Indoors & Outdoors
The access is easy: 200m from the Matterhorn Express base lift station and resort run there is a street level tunnel which leads you to a lift (elevator) built inside the mountain, from the top of which there is a gentle 2 minute walk to the property. Skis and boots can be left in the tunnel's ski-room. Although it does not have a Matterhorn view, the chalet is bathed in sun as soon as it emerges.
The chalet has been tastefully decorated, delicately combining an alpine, cosy and contemporary finish, with liberal use of wood and stone. It has all the latest technology with flat-screen TVs, more than a hundred satellite channels, a fireplace and geothermal heating to reduce the chalet's carbon foot-print as much as possible.
The chalet enjoy the use of their own unique private outdoor hot-tub surrounded by snow (in the winter) perfect to relax and enjoy the view (or the stars) after a long day in the mountains.
Frozen Fire is a rare gem; a large freestanding chalet in Zermatt which has been conceived to meet your needs and wishes to the fullest possible extent.

The chalet can be rented according to 3 options (prices vary):

- Pre-arrival assistance and on-site concierge service.
- Welcome basket (for bookings of 5 days or more).
- Complete cleaning at the end of your stay.
- Duty manager available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Breakfast included:

- Duty dining available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Full breakfast (6 days a week).
- Self-service bar - a complimentary selection of house wines, beers and spirits.

* Our staff have one day off per week. For this day, continental breakfast will be prepared for you the day before.

* Our staff have one day off per week. On this day, we will reserve a restaurant of your choice. Continental breakfast will be prepared for you the evening before.
Please note: in summer (14/04 to 22/11), the chalet is only available as self-catering accommodation.
Location
Accessed through a tunnel on the main street and an elevator. The entrance to the tunnel is 200m from the end of the ski run. From top of elevator its a 200m walk to the chalet, which is at the top of an exterior staircase. 4 minute walk from the church square.
