Paradise of snorkeling and scuba diving, you won’t be disappointed by the marvels hidden in the seabed. However, we recommend you to get informed about ocean currents before you jump into water. Certain climate conditions might not be adapted to snorkeling.

Must-see spots in Mauritius

Diving at whatever time of the year, it is possible in Mauritius! From north to south, this corner of paradise owns wonderful various spots. Don’t limit yourself to one, there are so many marvels to discover. And, if you don’t want to be wet, you can still have a boat tour with a glass-bottom made to observe the fish in all tranquility.

Among the must-see spots, one can think of the marine parc of Blue Bay in south Mauritius, listed as natural reserve. It has a large diversity of marine species in a deep lagoon, including aquatic turtles.
With a sensational view on the geant Morne Brabant, Flic en Flac in the West in an ideal spot protected from the wind. In waters, you will admire the colorful fish of the landscape. If you go there, you may also want to see Tamarin, a meeting point for catamaran excursions and to swim with dolphins.

In the east, Trou d’Eau douce  kept his wild aspect on earth as under water with caves, tunnels and giant arches. You however need to pay attention to diving conditions as the zone is more exposed to violent winds.

In the north of the island, La pointe aux piments, Le coin de Mire and Trou aux Biches are also not-to-be-missed spots close to the coral reef.
