Lake Como

Lying in western Lombardy, Lake Como's reputation as a holiday destination for the rich and famous dates back to Roman times. Lake Garda

Lake Garda, Italy's largest lake, is a popular holiday destination, and has been visited by many famous artists and poets since time immemorial. It is located between Brescia and Verona - and in the regions of Lombardy, Trentino Alto Adige and Veneto. A setting of olive, lemon and orange trees and breathtaking views await you here. Culture lovers will appreciate the cultural richness of this territory which is steeped in historical monuments, Veronese and Venetian castles and impressive forts. Lake Maggiore

Stretching across parts of the Piedmont region, Lombardy and the Swiss canton of Ticino, Lake Maggiore is the second largest lake in Italy.
