The blue and white village of Oia

On the island of Santorini, in the Cyclades, this blue and white village is a world-famous landscape. Stroll through its narrow streets and browse the many shops, tavernas and restaurants. One of the most famous architectural monuments is the church of Panagia de Platsani. Located in the main square (caldera), it is recognisable by its bell towers and is one of the most beautiful Greek churches.

On the cultural side, the village is home to the ruins of a Byzantine castle and various museums such as the Naval and Maritime Museum and the Musical Instruments Museum.

The main attraction of Oia is the sunset. From the tops of the small village or from the sea on board a boat, this magical spectacle attracts many visitors. Come and watch the sun disappear behind the white houses and blue domes.

Monemvasia, the treasure of Greece

Facing the sea, stands Monemvasia, a fortified village located on a peninsula in the Peloponnese. Carved out of stone, the best way to discover this small village is to wander through its many picturesque streets, one of which is a shopping street. It is possible to walk along the ramparts that run alongside the sea, then walk down to the beach and take a swim.

For breathtaking views, head to the Upper Town, where you can see the Aghia Sophia church and ancient ruins. Don't miss one of the most beautiful villages in Greece!

The traditional village of Naoussa

The traditional village of Naoussa

With its port, its castle, its churches and its beaches, Naoussa is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful Greek villages. Its white houses with windows attract many tourists during the summer season but Naoussa has retained its charm. As you walk along you will see typical houses, the House of Literature, until you reach the square where the war memorial stands.

Overlooking the town, you can't miss the Church of the Holy Trinity which stands at the end of Ramnos. It is a listed marble church and a reflection of the work of Paros' craftsmen.
