Florence, the cradle of Italian Renaissance

Florence, the cradle of Italian Renaissance

Florence, the capital of Tuscany, will strike you with the beauty of its architecture and its cultural richness. When travelling to the city we advise you to visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Uffizi Gallery, which is a museum of Renaissance art. You should also take pictures from the Ponte Vecchio, and relax in the Michelangelo Park, where you can enjoy a superb panoramic view of the city.

Florence is also a city of small squares, all equally picturesque, where you can rest while enjoying a typical Italian gelatto. Our selection includes Piazza del Carmine, Piazza della Signoria and Piazza San Marco.
Moreover, if you are looking forward to visiting typical local villages, the must-see Tuscany villages are Radda in Chianti and Gaiole in Chianti, located in the south of Florence.

The city of Pisa

The city of Pisa

Famous for its leaning tower, the city of Pisa's 53-metre high monument is part of Piazza dei Miracoli and was built in 1173. Made entirely of marble, the tower of Pisa is considered a jewel of Tuscan Romanesque art and attracts thousands of visitors every year.
Don’t know what else to do when visiting this Tuscan city? Visit Pisa’s famous Duomo and marvel at The Cathedral of Pisa and it's square. Also, enjoy Italian gastronomy and its delicious local products.

Discover the depths of Siena

Siena is a city of winding streets, red roofs and an ambient dolce vità that invites discovery. A must-see when visiting Tuscany!
The best way to explore Siena is to get lost. Along its streets you will discover the Incontri and Del Capitano palaces, which belong to rich and influential families.
Moreover, the greatest attraction of the city is the Duomo di Siena, about eight centuries old! The sculptures and paintings stored there are priceless.
About 50 metres further on is the Piazza del Campo. Every year this square hosts the Palio of Siena, a horse race that takes place the 2nd July and 16th August. You cannot miss this festival  if you happen to be in Tuscany during those dates!

The Tuscan countryside

The Tuscan countryside

If after visiting the wonders of Tuscany you would like to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, you must visit the green Tuscan countryside.
The Chianti Valley, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and traces the history of Tuscan wine, is a must-see.
The road that crosses this valley is the Chiantigiana, which has been passing through the villages of Greve in Chianti and Castellini in Chianti for centuries. It takes you naturally into the history of Italian Tuscany, between Etruscan and Roman ruins, baroque country houses and vineyards. Therefore, it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
