Le Fort de Mogador is situated 8km outside of Essaouira, in the heart of a small village at the edge of an argan tree forest. The Atlantic Ocean is very close, with its immense and deserted beaches where the wind from the ocean tempers the Moroccan sunshine.

Le Fort de Mogador reminds us of an ancient fort and exhales a sense of deep harmony, power, beauty and authenticity. It is a quiet place, where time is suspended.

The heart of the house is the riad, a vast inner garden planted with palm trees and bougainvillea. The four bedrooms are all around this courtyard, all spacious and bright. Two bedrooms include a large sitting area. There is one shared bathroom in the courtyard and another bathroom on the garden side.

There is a vast living room with fireplace and a kitchen-style dining room.

The riad is surrounded by magnificent gardens of mimosa, giant cacti, jasmine, papyrus, oleanders, etc..
A staircase leads to a huge terrace bathed in white light, for sunbathing or simple contemplation.
At one corner of the closed garden is a heated swimming pool and steam bath (traditional hammam).

Le Fort de Mogador is managed by a caring caretaker, steward and concierge. Rental fees include staff, housekeeping, cooking of local cuisine and delicious dishes according to your taste.

Everything is organised to make life sweet and mild.
