Dar el Qadi

Dar el Qadi is one of the oldest houses in Marrakech restored authentically and contains elements from the 17th century. This house is the only one that has a tower that offers a direct view over the medina. The property presents a wide variety of places with a strong and charming character.

Room 4
Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed 180 cm configurable in twin beds. Bathroom ensuite, with bathtub. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, dressing room.

Room 5
Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed. Bathroom shared, with bathtub. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, dressing room, private terrace.

Room 6
Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 2 single bed. Bathroom shared, with bathtub. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, dressing room, private terrace.


Indoors

With its Moroccan style, the living room is the ideal place to gather for tea or to rest with your loved ones. It has wide sofas, dim lights, and you will appreciate the calm of this room.
The ceilings and doors of the summer lounge, as well as the carved elements above the doors are original.
Each bedroom is spacious and corresponds to a living room of the old house. The rooms are all ensuite with private shower room/bath.
Guests can relax in the hammam of the property.


Outdoors

Dar el Qadi's style is an expression of Islamic culture. Restored according to the plans of the past, the house has a patio composed of arched galleries and arcades. In the center, you will find a fountain, like the paradise described in the Koran.
The large roof / terrace extends over several levels. It is possible to take meals under the tent of the terrace. While going on the qadi tower, at the level of the minarets, you will see the central districts of Marrakech, perfect to listen to the noise of the neighboring souks and to see the smoke of the place Jema el Fna.


Staff and service

Daily cleaning.
Tea, water and homemade cakes are prepared every afternoon.
Breakfast is served in the courtyard or on the terrace, made up of local and seasonal products, prepared with expertise by Nadia: Wholemeal bread with olives, pancakes and homemade cakes, goat cheese, yogurt, orange juice , eggs…
Lunch and dinner can be prepared by Nadia on request and charged directly at the riad.
