Villa Bealdi is an incredible property, located just 10 minutes from the ancient walled city of Lucca. Surrounded by hills filled with wild boar, it was once the hunting lodge retreat of Count Cosimo Bernardini of Lucca who would spend his weekends in the country. The Bernardini family played an instrumental role in the administration and politics of the Republic of Lucca. In the end of the 18th century, Borgo was extended to become a small village for the workers of the estate which included an olive press, bakers and chapel. Today the estate has been converted into a luxurious and exclusive Tuscan retreat in a small hamlet surrounded by a vast park decorated by fountains and water features, ancient trees, small squares and historic alleys. This property is a perfect place for families or a group of friends desiring to spend a relaxing and entertaining vacation in Italy.

Indoors
The villa has been recently restored and equipped with all modern comforts (air-conditioning, wifi, inside and outside centralized music system), while at the same time preserving its tradition and history: beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, ornate fireplaces and big windows overlooking the surrounding hills and olive groves. The antique pieces of furniture have belonged to the Bernardini family for centuries therefore they are unique and exclusive.
Guests will enjoy the fancy indoors facilities: majestic living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and various leisure rooms with piano and billiards. This luxury and exclusive vacation rental can accommodate up to 24 people in 12 luxury bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Some bedrooms can accomodate an extra bed (With an additional charge the villa can accomodate up to 26 people).
On the groud Floor, there are: a huge dining area for 24 people, an elegant and spacious living room (with fireplace and tv), a fully equipped kitchen in traditional Tuscan style, a laundry room, 4 guest bathrooms and a workout room (cardio fitness). From the kitchen it is possible to access the courtyard, the alfresco dining area and a patio with some tables, perfect for breakfast.
The property also features is a free laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing boarding (dry cleaning and ironing service are available only on request, at extra charge).
Outdoors
The outdoor areas are superb, as well as the breathtaking interiors.
The Villa offers a private swimming pool (18m x 8m x 1,8 m) and plenty of sun lounger where guests can relax, enjoying the peacefulness of the Tuscan countryside. Near the swimming pool there is a fitness room with access to the garden and a pretty living room with wicker furniture and big glass windows overlooking the pool area, the ideal place to read a book or have a relaxing massage or a beauty treatment.
BBQ and a vast alfresco dining area with seating for 26 people are located in an antique courtyard of the estate with an impressive “Peschiera”: a majestic fishpond.
Staff & Services
The price includes : chef service Daily Chef service for preparation of breakfast and one meal (lunch or dinner) 6 days a week (Wednesday day off), daily maid service (the morning 6 days a week - Sunday day off), concierge service, electricity (up to 2000 KW - over this amount guests will be charged accordingly to usage), water, gas, water, gas, linen change (on Saturday and Wednesday), access to the Tennis Football / Volleyball Fields (+ balls and rackets), cleaning of the swimming pool, garden maintenance.
