Villa Serata

In summary

Villa Serata is a beautiful house nestled in the stunning nature reserve of the National Park of Sintra, just half an hour outside of Lisbon, Portugal. With its three levels, the villa can accomodate up to 16 persons and represents an ideal place to spend quality time with family and friends.


Indoors

The house has three levels and is centrally heated. Each floor have its own temperature thermostat control. All rooms have fly/mosquito screens to let the cool breeze in during the evenings.
On the ground floor, guests can enjoy a first living room, a second living room with a 65-inch Samsung Smart Led TV and with Harman Kardon soundbar/subwoofer. There are also one double bedroom, a library, a work area with desk and printer, a dining room, the fully equipped main kitchen and the laundry room. 
On the first floor, there are one master bedroom suite, 4 bedrooms and a nice terrace.
On the lower gound floor, there are two double bedrooms, an outdoor patio area and a games room with TV, pool table, table tennis table, dart board and table football. The games room can also be converted to a conference setting with six meeting tables seating 12 executives. A white board for presentations is also available.
The house consists of 7 bathrooms and 2 toilets.


Outdoors

The villa offers spacious and equipped outdoor. Guests can appreciate the spacious outdoor terraces of the property, the two al fresco lounge areas and the dinner area. Each terrace has automatic sunshades of 6 x 4 meters each that retract automatically in case of inclement weather. There are also an additional terrace on the first floor and a private patio on the lower ground level.
The house includes salted and heated pool (14 x 4 meters). It comes equipped with family games such as Waterpolo goals, dive rings and a selection of inflatables. It has an automatic cover so the pool can be fully closed off thereby retaining the heat and keeping it clean. It has four lights for evening moonlit swims.
Slightly hidden in the greenery is a raised wooden platform with a 4/5 persons temperature controlled Jacuzzi.  A few meters down from the Jacuzzi there are two hammocks, ideal for relaxing and reading.


Location

Villa Serata is perfectly located to enjoy coastal and countryside activities. There are beautiful beaches within 10 minutes drive, including Praia Grande’s long beach with its high cliffs and with life guard during the summer. The slightly smaller Praia de Macas is also 10 minutes away. These two beaches have various restaurants and bars along their promenades.
Nazare and its spectacular beaches is only one hour away. Visitors can also go to the beaches of Cascais and Estoril and the Cabo de Roca (the most westerly point in Europe) which has a picturesque lighthouse perched high on the cliffs.
