From Al Maaden to the legendary Royal Golf Club, golfers enjoy exceptional spots at the foot of the Atlas. Another way to contemplate the palm groves and beautiful desert areas: quad rides, buggy or more authentic and traditional, horseback riding. But here is an unexpected activity for such a destination, skiing at the top of the Atlas! Lovers of skiing can hit the slopes of Oukaïmeden station, just 80km from Marrakech, from November to February.

The international marathon of Marrakech contributes to the influence of this fascinating city on a world scale. This prestigious 42-kilometre race is usually held in January and sees the participation of more than 6,000 athletes from around the world to tour a circuit of exceptional scenery. But this annual event is not the only Moroccan reference for sports tourism, since the Marrakech Grand Prix, World Championship for passenger cars (FIA WTCC).
