Beekeepers for 5 generations, the Rucher des Alpilles is a family honey factory in Saint-Rémy de Provence. Olive oil is an integral part of the gastronomy of the South of France. Why not visit an olive grove?
Nestled in the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park is La Bastide du Laval, an olive grove and oil mill. Organic cultivation, hand harvesting and extraction of the oil at the mill and a PDO product, make this a perfect product.
It is possible to visit this olive grove of 4,000 trees located in a Designation of Origin area. With the help of an audio guide, you can walk through the olive groves and finish your visit with a tasting of the oils and wines. Guided tours are also available if you wish. Discover the history of the olive grove through a presentation of the extraction methods and a guided tour of the mill. End your visit with a tasting of the oils and wines. Don't forget to visit the small shop where you can buy local products, tapenade, olives, oils, wines and delicatessen.

Lavender blooms every year from June to August. Breathe in the fresh air and the sweet scent of lavender, you are in Provence. You can download and print a map with the different routes and places of interest on the Lavender Routes website. These visits will complete your walk through the blue fields.
