Lanzarote

At the foot of the mountain La Corona, the Atlantida, a lava tunnel, extends for 6 km. One of the attractions of this site is Jameos del Agua. In the middle of the vegetation you will discover a white pool with turquoise waters that contrasts with the environment. It is said that only the King of Spain can bathe here. Going down the steps you will see a cave. In this cave, a lagoon shelters small albino crabs, nicknamed Jameito, this species is unique in the world and is only found in these waters. Another cave houses an auditorium with a capacity of 600 people, the acoustics are perfect for concerts. A little further on is Cueva de los Verdes, another attraction in the tunnel. It is a must-see if you want to learn more about the volcanic origin of the island.
On Lanzarote, you can continue your volcanic adventure and head to the Gayria volcano. Located near the town of Tiscamanita, the start of many hiking routes, you will find this volcanic cone. Climb to the top of its 400 metres and discover breathtaking scenery.

For a relaxing visit, don't miss the cactus garden created by César Manrique, in Guatiza. More than 4,500 cacti make up this landscape and you will also find an old windmill. A native of the island, it is also possible to visit his home.

Gran Canaria

Classified as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, the capital of Las Palmas is home to a variety of landscapes. Take a walk through the pine forests, relax on the golden sandy beaches, or discover the long dunes on camelback, the choice is yours! Take a break in one of the Guachinches, small local restaurants where you can taste the island's gastronomy.
The best way to discover the different environments of Gran Canaria is to visit the Nublo Rural Park. Covering more than 26,000 hectares, this park is home to a variety of flora and fauna, diverse landscapes and places of interest such as the Tejeda basin and the Sándara mountain. Not to mention the Roque Nublo viewpoint, from which you can admire a sea of clouds.

Tenerife

Tenerife

One of the most popular attractions in Tenerife is the Siam Park water park. But it would be a shame not to visit the natural areas and towns of Tenerife. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital and a must-see on the island. Stroll through its streets, discover its gardens and museums, visit the Plaza de España and finish your walk on the beach.
For the more sporty, go and climb Teide, the 3rd largest volcano in the world. From the top you can enjoy breathtaking views, but you will need a special permit if you want to reach the summit. If you are tired, a cable car can take you to the Teide. Another nature adventure is to explore the Chinyero nature reserve, named after the volcano you can see.

Fuerteventura

With over 150km of beaches, Fuerteventura is the best place for water sports. Head to the island's capital, Puerto del Rosario, which is home to Playa Chica and Playa Blanca.
Betancuria, a former colonial town, is recognisable by its architecture and white houses. Stroll through the streets, visit the Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum of Betancuria and the Church of Santa María. This charming little town was the first capital of the Canary Islands.

Don't leave the island without stepping into the natural pool of Castillo Caleta de Fuste. This image that is everywhere on social networks is a secret paradise. To reach this small pool of sea water, find the Corralito rock and then walk down to the tip of the peninsula. Enjoy spectacular views of the ocean with your feet in the crystal clear waters of the pool.

La Palma

La Palma is a real jewel of greenery. Visit the Caldera de Taburiente National Park and discover its flora and fauna as well as its landscape. At more than 2,000 metres above sea level you will reach the Roque de las Muchachos viewpoint. From here, where the astrophysical observatory is located, you can admire a gigantic sea of clouds and also see the neighbouring islands. At night you can admire the stars in a clear sky, as there is very little pollution.

La Gomera

La Gomera

La Gomera is classified as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and is less touristy than other islands. One of the main attractions is a visit to the Garajonay National Park. This is where the Alto de Garajonay is located, the highest point on La Gomera. Its centre is almost 1,500 metres above sea level and offers breathtaking views of the whole island and even the surrounding Canary Islands.

El Hierro

El Hierro is the smallest island of the archipelago. In the south its numerous beaches are ideal for diving, and there are many centres offering activities.
One of the most beautiful jewels of nature is hidden in the small town of El Pueblo. Surrounded by rock, the Charco Azul is a natural pool formed by lava. Its turquoise waters and volcanic formations make it one of the most beautiful places in the Canary Islands. You would think that this paradise was designed by the hands of an artist.
