Domaine Bérénice is a 22-hectare family estate ideally located in the heart of the Pays d'Aix, on an exceptional wine-growing terroir. At the heart of this property is a castel that looks like a large and harmonious Tuscan house. It houses 12 elegant rooms and suites with a breathtaking view of the Alpilles massif, the Luberon, the Sainte-Victoire, the Mont Ventoux and the Alpes de Haute Provence. The property also includes the 4-bedroom Villa Berenice, which has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. Furthermore, an indepedant studio is available.

You can choose to rent the whole estate to accommodate 34 people or the castle individually if there are only 24 guests.

Indoors

• The castle:
  In all the rooms of this masterly residence, the perfume of the Latin culture so dear to the family who restored it in the respect of its long tradition floats. The refined decoration and the 5-star comfort combine perfectly to offer an absolutely unforgettable holiday destination.
  Each flat, from 30 to 75 m², decorated by the family, evokes the history of the estate through the different eras. Whether they are decorated in 1850, Spanish, Provençal, Italian-Venetian, Louis XIV, XVIII, Napoleon III or 1900, they all offer an exceptional view of the Alpilles, the property, the park and the vineyards. Modern objects and period elements blend happily in a refined decoration that promises 5-star comfort.
  
   
• The villa :
  Large and harmonious house entirely renovated, enjoying a breathtaking view of the vineyards. In all the rooms of this masterly residence, the perfume of Provencal culture floats. The 111 m² living room and open kitchen on the ground floor, as well as the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the first floor have been decorated by contemporary artists. 
  Adjacent to the Villa, a fully equipped studio is available to accommodate a nanny, private driver or bodyguard. 

Outdoors

The castle is located in a historic 17th century park which is composed of several areas, the boxwood labyrinth, the nymphaeum and the pond park, which create different atmospheres.
Many outdoor activities are available on the estate: relaxing by the pool (21x7 m) or in the jacuzzi, walking in the 22-hectare historic park, tennis or cycling in the 300-hectare estate... To accompany guests on their wanderings, information panels are installed throughout the estate, a well thought-out itinerary to help you discover all the marvels hidden in these majestic places.

The villa benefits from a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by a large terrace offering a breathtaking view of the Alpilles and the Luberon. A lounge and a dining room outside allow you to enjoy a convivial moment with friends or family.


Service and staff

The rental of the domain includes the services of a discreet and professional house staff, but also all meals, breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Bistronomic meals on the basis of 3-course meals served at the table or buffets including the service of wines from the estate, mineral water, soft drinks.


Activities

To enhance your stay, many activities can be organised such as: 
- a visit to the cellars and a wine tasting with an oenologist
- a 4X4 expedition to discover the whole of the vineyard and agricultural estate
- a massage in the room or in the vineyards
- participation in the grape harvest (September to October)
- a hike to discover the crater of an ancient volcano
- sports activities (golf, horse riding, canoeing, etc.)

Location

The estate is located 10 minutes' drive from Aix-en-Provence on a 300-hectare estate, including 170 hectares of vines nestling in the crater of Provence's only volcano.
