In summary

Eygalières is a small town located 8 kilometres from Saint Rémy de Provence. It is considered one of the most beautiful villages in the Provence region. Villa L'Eternelle is 2 minutes walk from the heart of Eygalières. L'Eternelle is composed of a main house and a secondary house.
The main house ground floor level is made of one large living room with open kitchen plus a seperate lounge / reading room.

Bedrooms

There is a bedroom on the ground floor level with doors opening onto the garden.
The master bedroom is located on the 1st floor with terrace.
The third bedroom of the villa is in the poolhouse and is equipped with a small kitchen and bathroom.

Indoors and outdoors

The heated pool (only from 15 April to the end of October) is 15 x 4.5 metres.
Regarding the heating of the main house, there is an aerothermal heating and cooling system that creates a natural, uncluttered and quiet ambiance.
The guest cottage (pool house) has a separate air conditionning system.

There is also a "beach" area and fountain. The exotic plants fit perfectly in the garden. There is also a plancha outside.

There is wifi throughout the property.

Air conditioning on the first floor.

It is a very private villa, a perfect house for people who are looking for a peaceful vacation.

Services and staff

The house comes with an everyday caretaker who can do grocery shopping on request, provide wine, deal with any security issues, organise day trips, make restaurants booking, arrange car/taxi service, organise transportation from or to railway station or airport...
The prices includes housekeeping twice a week, final cleaning and a welcome basket with some groceries on arrival (bottles of wine-water-milk, coffee, fruit, cheeses, cold soup, bread... - list non-exhaustive and subject to change).

Notes

- We can provide a full fridge at arrival (at extra cost)
- 200 channels and Netflix
- Cleaning 2 times per week is included as well as final cleaning
- The pool works on a salt filter in our pool machine room which cleans and softens the water. The water itself is odourless and free from any product.
- The villa prefers small groups of guests (4 people).

Rental conditions

- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using hot tub, pool, sauna or hammam
- Children welcome
- It is not allowed to organise events in the property without prior approval by Villanovo

Reservation conditions

- Guarantee deposit charged by Villanovo upon reservation : 40 %
- 2nd payment 45 Days to arrival day : 60 % of total amount of reservation is due to Villanovo.
- The reservation price does not include optional incidentals or on-request items which will be added to your final bill.

Cancellation policy and cancellation fees

- Any booking modification or cancellation must be sent to us by email
- Cancellation policy is applied according to villa local time
- For all cancellations, the initial guarantee deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellation occurs less than 45 Days to arrival day : 100 % of total amount of reservation is due to Villanovo.
- No show 100 % of total amount of reservation is due to Villanovo

Comments

The house itself was as beautiful, clean and open as the pictures depicted. The close proximity to town was also ideal. Sylvie kept things wonderfully fresh for us and too.

Villanovo did a wonderful job setting up the stay. The bike rental that was arranged made things especially easy for us and we felt as though we were tended to while also having privacy.

Very nice modern design interior. Great beds. Really nice architecture merging inside/outside well so you could sit on the sofa even during daytime. Large kitchen space - fun to cook. We received a fantastic starter-selection of fruit, cheese and wine. Overall a very nice experience. We had a lady coming round to clean up 3x per week - she was really nice and we enjoyed the service a lot.

There is a Steinway grand piano (not shown on the photos) - would be really nice to have the instrument overhauled and tuned. Also, a good set of cooking knives and a few more pots and pans in nice quality matching the house would be great. The master bedroom is fantastic, the smaller guest room in the ground floor is a bit too small.

Tolles Design, sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll. Herrlicher Garten.
Schön waren der gefüllte Kühlschrank nebst Wein. Sehr aufmerksam.
Gut war auch, dass es Bücher und. Magazine zum Stöbern gab.

Villanovo ist sehr gut und freundlich. Bedauerlich war nur, dass es keine. Ernünftige Wegbeschreibung gab, da die Adresse nicht im Navi zu finden war.

Wir hatten mit einem Grill gerechnet, der fehlte zunächst. Das gehört mE Ansicht dazu.
Der Hausmeister war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, sprach aber gar kein Wort Englisch, was die Kommunikation zumindest schwierig machte. Aber im Ergebnis hat es doch funktioniert.

Thank you so much for your compliments and observations. Further to your critical points we have purchased on outdoor plancha. The use of a barbecue, while not strictly forbidden, is discouraged given the adjacent nature reserve. Also, we will involve our concierge service in case English for communication is preferred. It is indeed true that our (otherwise very competent) house keeper does not speak English.

- la piscine (grande et chauffée)
- la fraicheur de la maison

- Service rapide de villanovo et une excellente passerelle de communication entre le locataire et propriétaire. En contact avec Evane, très cordiale et efficace.

- la machine à café (cela devrait être une machine Nespresso ou une machine à grain... le percolateur est un peu décevant par rapport au standing de la villa)
- la literie (matelas) des chambres

Thank you so much for all your positive feedback which is very much appreciated. With respect to your critical points we will make sure that Nespresso machines in both kitchens will be there for the next guests. The beds and mattresses in the main bedroom and pool house are special top-of-the-line Gervasoni firm mattresses, particularly suitable for people with back issues. The bed in the guest room has a box spring mattress.
