Note :
- The dormitory: this is the mezzanine above the lounge, with 4 single beds. An ideal space for young tribes.
- The 2 suites have memory foam mattresses.
Indoors
Sophie and Alexandre have taken it upon themselves to restore and fit out the building without altering its original character.
You'll be immediately captivated by this beautiful Charentais farmhouse, its character, its authenticity and its furnishings based on noble materials and harmonious colours. It perfectly combines the charm of yesteryear with the comforts of modern life.
With its 4 pretty bedrooms, the house can comfortably accommodate 8 people.
The "Day" part of the house comprises a vast, welcoming and authentic entrance hall, a fitted kitchen of over 30m², generous and convivial thanks to its farmhouse table and its period fireplace, which warms up large tables. A vast 40m² lounge offers a warm and cosy ambience based on a harmony of colours and materials. The small transverse space between the kitchen and the large living room can be used as an office for tele-workers.
Outdoors
Set in a fenced plot of 1,200 m², the property boasts an extremely pleasant, peaceful and well-designed outdoor environment.
The swimming pool area: set in a Mediterranean garden, this features a lovely heated swimming pool (8x4m - secured by an automatic cover) and a wide wooden deck attractively equipped with sun loungers, deckchairs and an oriental bench.
The lounge and dining area: this is a terrace running alongside the living areas of the farmhouse. Beautifully flowered with the precious Ronsard plants that have adorned it for decades, it is subtly and comfortably furnished with fine dining and garden furniture, shaded by canvases during the day and enlivened by the sun for long summer evenings in a friendly country atmosphere.
The siesta area: in the shade of the maple tree, come and relax in the hammock for restorative siestas scented with the subtle fragrance of jasmine and lavender.
The garden: a generous green space where you can indulge in your favourite outdoor games, pick your own fruit from our fruit trees, be surprised by a visit from our wide variety of bird species, or admire the depths of the clear, starry sky and savour the silence!

Local shops, producers, markets and supermarkets are just 7 km from the property.
There are a number of picturesque villages nearby, including Talmont sur Gironde, with its island atmosphere adorned with hollyhocks and its majestic Sainte Radegonde overlooking the estuary, and the village of Mortagne sur Gironde, situated at the foot of the estuary and bustling with life thanks to its harbour, ideal for oyster tastings, its "La Minoterie" workshop for lovers of antiques and the atmosphere of the guinguettes.
You can also explore Saintes, Cognac, Marennes, and the miles of beaches from Meschers to the wild coast.
