Indoors 

This beautiful renovation is an elegant fusion of the Minho Region charm and tradition with contemporary furnishings and modern conveniences. Some of the of the original features were carefully kept (and fully renovated) such as handmade plaster ceilings, wooden floors and stone terraces. Together with the terracotta floors and exceptional outdoor furnishings, the result is superb.
On the ground floor of this fully air conditioned villa, you will find the living room (with comfortable seating and large table seating up to 14 people), an adjacent room (with fridge and sink to prepare salads or light meals) and guest toilet. 
The first floor comprises a spacious living room (with comfortable seating, cable TV, closed fireplace and panoramic view over the swimming pool and garden), a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room (with table seating up to 12 people), a Master double bedroom (with ensuite shower room) and further 3 double bedrooms (each with an ensuite shower room). 
A twin bedroom (with ensuite shower room) and a double bedroom (with ensuite shower room) are located on the second floor. 


Outdoors​ 

The formal extensive gardens with many different quaint areas invite you to relax in the shade or enjoy their meals outdoors.
Well maintained, generous grounds with lawns, furnished gazebo and terrace making it a pleasure to sit out at any time of the day to enjoy the warm Minho sun.
The large swimming pool (14 x 4,5 metres - The depth is from 1.20 to 1.40 metres - the first 2 metres are only 20cm deep) is surrounded by a terrace with large comfortable sun loungers. 
Set at the end of the property is an admirable Noria, kept in the original condition. This is an ancient hydropowered mill used to lift water into an aqueduct. 
The property also features a car parking area.


Staff & Services

It is possible to heat the pool at an extra cost. 
For stays of 10 nights or more, mid-stay cleaning is included in the price.


Location

The old fishing village of Esposende is just 1.3 kms away, which is great if you are looking to tantalise your taste buds with local delicacies or perhaps wine and dine for a special occasion.
The sandy beaches are only 3.4 kms away. These beaches are well-know for kite-surfing and other watersports.
Quinta da Barca golf course can be found within a 5 minute drive.
The horse riding centre is also a short drive away.
There are 2 padel courts only 800m from the villa.
Oporto town centre is within a 30-minute drive. The old town centre is classified as a World Heritage Site.
