Our villas around Cala Vadella range from three to six bedrooms, with layouts suited to families or groups of friends. Interiors typically combine comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and generous living spaces opening onto terraces and gardens. Several properties also reflect Ibiza’s architectural character through white façades, natural materials and simple interiors connected to the outdoors.
Depending on the property, guests can stay in an Ibiza villa with a private pool, surrounded by terraces, sun loungers and Mediterranean vegetation. Outdoor dining areas and barbecues provide space for meals outside, while selected villas also feature a jacuzzi or hammam. The different configurations make Cala Vadella particularly suitable for family stays.
Villanovo’s properties are located in Cala Vadella and the surrounding Sant Josep countryside, with settings ranging from residential areas close to the bay to more secluded plots among pine trees. Some villas overlook the coastline, while others are positioned further inland with greater privacy and views across the surrounding landscape.
Cala Vadella’s beach, restaurants and sheltered waters remain within easy reach, while the west coast also gives access to neighbouring coves such as Cala d’Hort, Cala Molí and Cala Tarida. Sant Josep de sa Talaia provides shops, restaurants and everyday services a short drive inland.
The location also makes it possible to combine quieter days on the west coast with time elsewhere on the island.
Villanovo’s dedicated local concierge service can assist with airport transfers, car hire, restaurant reservations and practical arrangements at the villa. A private chef, childcare or additional housekeeping can also be organised depending on the property and guests’ preferences.
The team can also arrange boat outings, wellness treatments and activities around the island. Local recommendations help guests choose beaches, restaurants and local experiences that suit the pace of their stay, whether the priority is time by the sea, discovering Ibiza’s villages or spending an evening in town.
The bay of Cala Vadella is sheltered by pine-covered hills, with calm, shallow waters that are particularly convenient for families. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding and pedal boats offer simple ways to enjoy the bay, while the sandy beach provides an easy setting for spending much of the day by the water.
Its west-facing position also makes Cala Vadella a good place to watch the Ibiza sunset. Restaurants close to the beach serve fish, seafood and local rice dishes, allowing evenings to continue beside the bay after a day at the villa.
Further along the coast, Cala d’Hort opens towards Es Vedrà, while Cala Molí and Cala Tarida provide other beaches and coves to discover. Boat trips offer another perspective on Ibiza’s western coastline, combining swimming stops with views of cliffs, coves and offshore islets.
Cafe Vadella is a nice quaint town.
The pool at the Villa Wolf is amazing, especially with that incredible view.
This year, we spent much more time at the local beach of Cala Vadella and restaurants, which were within walking distance.
