Visit many museums

> Aegean Maritime Museum
This museum presents the history of the development of navigation on the Aegean Sea. You will be able to admire a large collection of models but also an impressive Greek trireme.

> Museum of Archaeology
You will discover in this museum a collection of vases and pottery, but also other objects from the pottery with "black figures".
Jewels, terracotta statuettes or tools of peasants complete the astonishing collection of this museum which should delight both the young and the curious.

> Rarity Gallery
Open daily from 10:00 to 00:00, this modern art gallery is located in the heart of Mykonos and is a true must-see on the island. You will find inside modern works, more original than the others, so lose yourself in the aisles of the museum to be absorbed by the psychedelic atmosphere which reigns, in a luxurious frame.

> Museum of Popular Arts
Open from April to October from 17:30 to 20:30. It is a former captain's residence built on the basis of ancient ramparts. You will find sublime collections of plates, antique furniture, engravings or old clothes.

Fun on the most beautiful beaches

Mykonos is really a beautiful island for its beaches and turquoise waters that will make you dream. Among the most beautiful beaches you can find the beach of Ornos, that of Psarrou with the whiteness of its sand or Paradise Beach for those who like to party on the beach. You will always find a beach not far from your villa to bask on your towel, perfect your tan, read a good book or even build sand castles with your children.
The most beautiful beach however remains the beach of Agios Ioannis, facing the sublime island of Delos.
For lovers of scuba diving, you will also find some companies that allow you to discover the seabed.

Stroll through the streets

> The Little Venice
A charming small area at the foot of the sea is one of the most romantic and wildest corners of Mykonos. The houses seem to be permanently in balance on the rocks. Beware, however, during the summer months, because there is a lot of people coming to admire the charm of this sublime place that seems out of time.
Do not forget to visit the Alefkandra district with all its sublime churches.

> Matoyianni District
Ideal for shopping in the small authentic streets of Mykonos. You will find typical memories to bring home to your friends and family. If you want to visit this area away from the tourist hordes, go at 10pm when the crowd begins to sharply decline.

> The Chora
The Chora of Mykonos is a typical village built as an amphitheatre. This is the perfect example of Cycladic architecture with the whitewashed houses and the pink bougainvillea that overflows the windows.

Go scuba diving

The coast of Mykonos is a bottomless playground for scuba diving enthusiasts. You will find there many corners to put on your fins and snorkel to explore the beauty of the seabed and try to count the different species of fish you will see.
One of the most popular dive clubs is GoDive Mykonos. So you can leave from Lia Beach and make an excursion in the depths as a group.

Soak up the culture

> Windmills - Maison de Léna
You will find many typical windmills throughout Mykonos. This is one of the aspects that make this charming island sparkle. However, there is one that is particularly worth a visit; it is the House of Lena and its mills. You will find in this house, of a rich old trader from the 19th century, the charm typical of the bourgeois houses of the time. You will find guides who speak English and you will discover the warm and family atmosphere of this house with its characteristic mills.
Open from April to October, from 18:00 to 21:00 everyday except Sunday from 17:00 to 19:00.

> Church of Paraportiani
You will find this wonder of the time near the port from which the boats leave towards Delos. You will then face the oldest church in all of Mykonos, a real hidden treasure in this avant-garde island of modernity in the Cyclades. These four whitewashed chapels are very representative of the Greek architecture of the time, namely the sixteenth century. Its name comes from "paraporti" which means "small door". Depending on the time you visit this building, the church is draped in different colours, a true spectacle of nature to which you must absolutely attend.
