Only a short 3h30 flight from London, Marrakech, otherwise known as the red city due to it beaten clay ramparts and buildings is the ideal destination for those in need of a breath of fresh air without being affected by jet lag fatigue, as Morocco is in the same time zone as the UK. Not only is it one of Villanovo’s favourite destinations but it is also a vibrant gem of northern Africa which is worth visiting. Marrakech being pleasant to visit at all times of the year, there are nevertheless months which are best suited for tourism than others. We recommend visiting Marrakech between March and May, where the temperatures will be enjoyable at all times, varying from 15 to 25 degrees celsius. The hot months of the summer can be heavy and draining which may prevent you from doing all of the activities that you have planned. September to November is another ideal period for visiting Marrakech, with temperatures ranging from 18 to 26 degrees celsius. However, it is important to note that November is Morocco’s wettest month, and September the busiest.
