Castles to explore with your family in the Luberon

The Luberon, hides architectural treasures and a past with medieval and Renaissance influences full of history. Often located in beautiful natural and historical places, these castles offer you breathtaking views of the region. Discover these castles in the four corners of the Luberon. Located in the most beautiful villages of the area, visit at the same time the streets of these historic villages: Lourmarin, Gordes, Lacoste and La Tour d'Aigues. Let your family immerse itself in the atmosphere of the knights and feudal lords for a nice cultural walk.

Lourmarin castle

Classified as one of the most beautiful villages of the Luberon, Lourmarin is marked by a Renaissance style. The castle is the meeting of two architectural styles: one more medieval, especially on the side of the gallery, while from the side of the facades and the high terraces, it is the Renaissance type that prevails. The spiral staircase, the genuine beauty of this building, has 93 steps and serves the rooms and the former reception areas.
