If you are fond of hiking, the ascent of Mount Rinjani is a holiday activity not to be missed. This volcano culminates at an altitude of 3,726 metres, whose top is headed by a caldera of 8 kilometres occupied by a volcanic lake and a small active cone that frequently emits lava flows.
Starting from Sembalun Lawang, you will set out to conquer its 35-kilometre slopes for a trek of about 3 days. Your ascent will be accompanied by stunning landscapes like the immense tranquil plains, waterfalls, hot springs and the blazing sun at sunset. Once at the top, you will discover the world otherwise above the clouds. However, you should wear warm clothes during your hike because the climate is chilly at the top of the volcano.

The Gili are three charming islets 2 kilometres in diameter each, located off Lombok, Indonesia. Whether they are Trawangan, Gili Air or Gili Meno, their authenticity will delight holidaymakers in search of a change of scenery. The Gili are accessible by plane or by motor boat: you will not find cars or motorcycles. You can walk through its magnificent scenery on foot, by bike or on small carts pulled by horses called "cidomo".
On the white sandy beach of Gili Air, let yourself be invaded by the perfect serenity of the places with the blue of the sky and the sea that marry perfectly. There are also small restaurants along the coasts where you can enjoy mouth-watering seafood platters. The inhabitants of Lombok, the Sasaks, are welcoming and always willing to share their stories and traditions. You can try a small immersion in the folklore by watching some traditional shows or discover the local culture during important events such as marriage or circumcision.
