To the west of Palermo, you will discover the charming seaside resort of Santo Vito Lo Capo very popular with tourists. For this we advise you, another spot very close by taking the road to Macari, that of Bue Marino Beach. Many small creeks of limestone rocks are waiting for you to sunbathe, picnic or admire the turquoise water.
Spiaggia Dei Conigli
Also known as Lampedusa, it is a postcard-worthy beach and not very popular with tourists. You will discover the famous rabbit island, and it’s setting that will make you feel like you are in the Caribbean. On this beach, the sand is white and fine and the water absolutely transparent. Scala Dei Turchi
It is one of the most exceptional sites in Sicily for the beauty of its coast. Indeed, the white rock that surrounds the beach is shaped like a staircase that plunges down towards the sea. Located in the region of Agrigento, the inhabitants usually come here to relax on weekends.
The nature reserve of Zingaro
Now we go to the municipalities of Castellammare del Golfo and San Vito Lo Capo, where there is a coastline of more than 7 km where you can access the beaches and also go on wonderful walks. The further you go, the less crowded the beach will be. Mixture of turquoise and green, the water of this reserve is sublime.
Spiaggia Valle i Muria
This beach has the ideal location if you want to relax away from mass tourism and find yourself alone on a beach. Surrounded by a high cliff, the peculiarity of this site is that it is a pebble beach with dark colours that contrast beautifully with the transparency of the water.
