Villa Dunes II is a private house neighbour to Villa Dune I. These recent villas are located in Poste Lafayette with direct access to one of the beautiful beaches in Mauritius with stunning views over the lagoon in an absolutely beautiful area.
Dunes II is furnished with care with teak wood from Indonesia. Ground floors are made of ceramic tiles from Spain and upstair floors are made of teak.

Bedrooms

Room 1
Room, Ground level. This bedroom has 1 double bed Queen size. Bathroom ensuite. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.

Room 2
Room, Ground level. The bedroom has 3 Beds including 2 twin beds, 1 sofa bed. Bathroom ensuite. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.

Room 3 - 30m2 :
Master bedroom, 1st floor, view of the sea. This bedroom has 1 double bed Queen size. Bathroom ensuite. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, TV, dressing room.

Indoors

Villa Dune II is equipped with a living room with 42 inch flat screen TV (satellite), a fully equipepd kitchen and a dining room (dining table seats 10 guests) of 9m x 4.5m with large windows overlooking the swimming pool. Enjoy the show with an exceptional sea view!
For your comfort the villa has an adjoining laundry room with washer and dryer.
The villa has an automatic generator covering all needs in case of public power failure.

Outdoors

On the terrace refresh yourself in the swimming pool (3.5m x 6.5m and 1.55m deep). You may dine on the wooden deck of the terrace where a second dining table is set and enjoy the lounge area under covered kiosk against the pool (which can be secured on request).

Staff & Services

- Included in the price: 1 cleaning lady from 8.50 am to 2.00 pm, Monday to Saturday.
- The cleaning lady does not work on Sundays and public holidays, but on request and for an extra charge, she can make herself available (overtime must be recorded for monitoring purposes)
- Additional hour: 3 euros/hour + return transport.
- The cleaning lady can cook which involves setting up breakfast + preparing 1 meal a day (lunch or dinner). Please note she does not do food shopping.

Please note that the cleaning lady's timetable depends on the public bus timetable.

Notes

For your safety, the villa is equipped with an electronic security system with surveillance and response in case of emergency and anti-theft bars.

Tips for the staff

Rental conditions

- Any external invitation to the contractual guests must be validated in advance by the owner or manager
- Fireworks are prohibited in the villa, its garden and the beach close by.
- It is not allowed to organise events in the property without prior approval by Villanovo
- Pool has no swimming guard
- Safety fence around the pool, or fenced on demand
- Language spoken by staff : English - French
- Check-in : 15:00 h - Check out : 11:00 h
- Amount of security deposit : 500.00 EUR
- Security deposit must be paid in the form of : Credit card pre-authorization (amount is not debited from your card)

Reservation conditions

- Guarantee deposit charged by Villanovo upon reservation : 40 %
- 2nd payment 50 Days to arrival day : 60 % of total amount of reservation is due to Villanovo.
- The owner may ask you to pay the amounts due for on-site services in local currency.
- The reservation price does not include optional incidentals or on-request items which will be added to your final bill.
- Payments in local currency are subject to variation in currency exchange rates.

Cancellation policy and cancellation fees

- Any booking modification or cancellation must be sent to us by email
- Cancellation policy is applied according to villa local time
- For all cancellations, the initial guarantee deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellation occurs less than 45 Days to arrival day : 100 % of total amount of reservation is due to Villanovo.

Localisation sur la plage formidable et côte Nord Est merveilleux. Maison spacieuse bonne literie bien équipée plusieurs sanitaires. Au calme. Bonne cuisinière très serviable

Ménage pas dans le détail. Coin piscine décevant car palissades non visibles sur les photos. Les bords de la piscine sont cassés à certains endroits et rendent l’espace négligé d’autant plus que le revêtement est très rugueux.
Les chariots du lave vaisselle sont rouillés.
Des serviettes de toilettes sont tachées.

The design of the villa: both the architecture and the interior design of the villa are of the highest standard, with beautiful materials and detailing throughout: the space is very well organised, the staircase to the master bedroom is gorgeous, every bedroom is very well furnished with wardrobes, a desk and a small sofa.
The view from the terrace and from the master bedroom is stunning.
The villa is extremely well equipped and comfortable.
The outside space has been very well designed, with a nice sitting area underneath a sheltering thatched roof which works both for sun and rain

It is not the best spot to swim.
There are a couple of abandoned houses next to the villa, and a lot of semi-finished construction sites nearby.

Sublime maison, soignée dans les moindres détails. On s’y sent comme à la maison avec le niveau d’excellence d’un etablissement 5*.

Nous sommes extrêmement satisfaits et espérons pouvoir réserver d’autres maisons grâce a villanovo bientôt.

La piscine, la vue, de belles chambres, la décoration, une grande cuisine full équipée et surtout la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel de maison

La climatisation ne fonctionne pas très bien dans une des 3 chambres.
