Mauritius is not only a perfect destination for lovers of the ocean and offshore activities, but also for wilderness enthusiasts! Indeed, lovers of wild landscapes will be delighted to discover the hinterland thanks to the mountain bike tours. The island is a real gold mine full of natural places to visit.
So that everyone can see what the landscape offers, you will have the choice between 2 different routes.
The bike through Bras d'Eau (in the Roches Noires region): 4 hours of exciting adventure to see with family or friends unusual landscapes.
However, it is a rather sporty track so children under 12 years are not accepted.
During your ride, the guide will introduce you to unique corners, show you some tricks to be at your best, and explain local stories about the places around you.
30km, difficulty: moderate - difficult, 65 € per bike
Riding in the forest of Macchabée: in the heart of the South-West region, you can observe the rainforest. For 4 hours you will have the chance to see a protected area of the Maccabeans Forest Reserve.
Be careful, this bike route requires a good physical shape, so you must be at least 16 years of age because the tracks are quite harsh and mountainous.
You will be provided with a helmet, spare tubes and pumps, a pair of special gloves and special pedals.
