The Caudan Waterfront is the marina of Port Louis, the Mauritian capital.
Recently built, this is one of the major tourist attractions of the city. There are many shops, souvenir shops and restaurants to be explored here.
Chinatown, in Port Louis, is filled with restaurants cooking up the finest Chinese cuisine. In May there is a food and cultural festival to celebrate this area with live shows in the streets and reduced prices in restaurants.
Visit the old factory of Beau Plan converted into an eco-museum. The tour ends with a tasting of special sugars and Mauritian rum.
