Primošten is a jewel on the Croatian coast and was originally an isolated island, surrounded by walls to preserve it from external attacks. Today, connected to the mainland by a long wall, it keeps many vestiges of its past in its old city. The visit to this place full of history is unavoidable. In its narrow streets, the stone houses are incredibly preserved. Some have even retained their lauze roofing. Almost everywhere, the vegetation enhances the scenery and reminds us that the peninsula has become a haven of peace where it is good to live. Outside of the historic centre, a new town has also developed and reveals a whole other face of Primošten, with the Mediterranean atmosphere that characterises the region. Do not hesitate to follow the path around the city to discover its beaches and its most beautiful sights.
