The peak tourist season in Portugal usually starts in July and lasts until early September. During this period, Lisbon is bursting at the seams with tourists.

August and September are the hottest months. It is best to visit between May and June, or September and October.

If cold weather is not a problem for you, November and December are also excellent months to visit Lisbon, especially in December during the holiday season.
