Created by the British around 1844 in the heart of the island, precisely in Vacoas, the Gymkhana Club golf course is the oldest in the southern hemisphere and the fourth oldest in the world. Over the years, the golf course has become increasingly popular. It now offers 18 holes in a heavenly setting bordered by palm trees embellished by the shimmering colors of bougainvillea and the enchanting scent of tulips. At the Gymkhana Club, you can also enjoy the swimming pool and hit a few balls on the tennis court. There is also a squash court and a fitness center.
