Exploring Seminyak
The most well known landmark in the area is, without a doubt, Petitenget Temple. This ancient temple, dating from centuries ago, is one of the few cultural sights in the beach resort of Seminyak and is often forgotten about because of the modern, upmarket scene that is portrayed throughout this area. The temple itself has an antique feel as it is made from sandstone and red bricks making it a sight of beauty with its vast courtyard within. Around a dozen various shrines and small structures covered with symbolic Balinese chequered cloths can be found here.
Seminyak Beach is perhaps one of, if not the, most famous in the whole of Bali. This area is ideal for surfing and surfers from all over the world come here to catch some waves. The sunsets here are breathtaking and basically, if you do not witness one, you haven’t really been to Bali.
