Easy breezy on the beach

Easy breezy on the beach

Reading a novel under palm trees on a sandy beach with crystal clear water is one of the most popular ways travellers like to spend their summer holidays. Recharging batteries and escaping the daily routine being the primary purpose of a beach holiday, why not do so in comfortable luxury in Ibiza? The perk of these two beautiful islands is that they offer a wide range of activity as well for those who are bored of the sun loungers on the beach or by the private pool of their villa in on the island. Ibiza offers the luxury of choosing from a wide pool of activities during your stay, from traditional activities such as jet skiing, diving and water skiing or other inland activities such as hiking horse riding on the beach or cycling, there is something to please all ages! It is also possible to take part in activities one may not have thought of such as a hot air balloon or buggy ride, to boost your stay even more. For those who wish to escape further away than the Meditterranean Sea, why not head to Mykonos,a greek island in the Aegean Sea? Similarly to Ibiza, it holds the reputation of a summer party environment as well as having some of the most incredible beaches of Europe, a promising combination!

Broaden your cultural horizons

Broaden your cultural horizons

As dreamy as a beach holiday may sound, it is not everyone’s cup of tea. Cultural summer holidays within Europe or northern Africa have become increasingly popular  as they combine both relaxation and discovery. Marrakech, the red city of Morocco, attracts millions of visitors every year due to its fascinating culture and tradition which is reflected in the Moroccan’s lifestyle. With Villanovo, it is possible to rent a luxury riad or villa in Marrakech with a private pool so that travellers can explore the city’s littlest corners and then enjoy a moment of peace in quiet on a sunlounger in fully-staffed accommodation. Lisbon, capital of Portugal, is another favourite destination for travellers in search of culture as well as delightful summer weather. This wonderful city with over 400 years of history will not only fascinate history lovers but art ones as well thanks to its fantastic architecture and colourful buildings.

Connect with nature on a safari

Connect with nature on a safari

Safaris are a one of a kind holiday which usually please the entire family, especially children who tend to love animals. Safari’s can be done in Asia and South America, but the ones in Africa  are often preferred as they are closer to Europe and are renowned to be incredible. Despite there being a large choice of destination in Africa for a safari, here at Villanovo we recommend going to Tanzania or South Africa. Bordering Mozambique, Kenya, Rwanda, Malawi and Zambia, Tanzania has been a destination of choice for many travellers due to its security, breathtaking landscapes and kind culture. There is also the opportunity to relax under palm trees on a crystal clear beach in Zanzibar, gorgeous archipelago of Tanzania, which travellers can visit once their safari is done or before it begins, to combine two types of holiday in one. South Africa, on the edge of the world, is a must-visit destination for a safari as well as for its culture, landscapes and abundance of activities. With a coastline of over 2850 kilometres, South Africa provides the perfect setup to take part in water based activities such as surfing, kitesurfing or windsurfing but also inland ones such as a hiking which is extremely popular in South Africa, particularly in Cape Town due to the Table Mountains which stand proudly overlooking the city.
