The weather and climate in Bali is very tropical throughout the whole year as the Island of the Gods lies just 8 degrees South of the equator. You can expect to see plenty of sunshine throughout your stay on this beautiful island.
There are two main seasons in Bali: Dry Season and Rainy Season.
Dry Season is between April and September where temperatures can be very high with very little rainfall making it quite humid. Temperatures range from around 31°C and 34°C during this time.
Rainy Season is typically between October and March and as a result the island sees less tourists so this may be the best time to come if you want to see Bali away from the crowds, but we do advise you to bring an umbrella! Temperatures are around 23°C so it is not very cold, but you may wish to pack a cardigan or jumper for cooler evenings.
To avoid the tourist crowds the best time to go to Bali is in the months of April, May, June and September - just before and after the high season where villa prices can be 30 - 50% cheaper than in peak season. If you choose to visit during the high season - July and August - prices will be a lot higher and it will be very crowded and hot, however don’t worry because all of our villas have pools for you to cool off. These months are also the best time to go if you like watersports like surfing, scuba diving and snorkelling as the waters are clear.
As Bali is blessed with a tropical climate all year round it is best to pack beach wear/summer clothing. During the summer months the weather is really hot and it is still warm at night so you will be fine with just light clothing. However, during the winter months you may want to pack a light cardigan or jumper for the evenings as it can be a bit cooler. It is wetter in the rainy season between October and March so you may want to take a small umbrella or light waterproof jacket with you.
