Our villas in Trou d’Eau Douce offer different layouts and facilities depending on the property. Private swimming pools, landscaped gardens and terraces provide plenty of space for meals and time outdoors, while comfortable bedrooms and bright living areas are designed for stays with family or friends.

Our villas are located around Trou d’Eau Douce and Palmar, close to the lagoon and the beaches of Mauritius’ east coast. This part of the island offers a quieter coastal environment while remaining within easy reach of restaurants, golf courses, beaches and places of interest along the east coast.
Further along the coast, villas in Belle Mare are set close to one of the east coast’s long sandy beaches. Anahita and Poste Lafayette also offer different settings along the eastern coastline, from golf estates to quieter residential areas beside the sea.
Trou d’Eau Douce itself is particularly convenient for guests planning to spend time on the lagoon or visit Île aux Cerfs, with boat departures available from the village.
Before and during your stay, our concierge teams can help organise selected services according to your plans. Airport transfers, car hire, childcare, restaurant reservations and wellness treatments can be arranged depending on availability and the services offered at the property.
Guests can also choose a villa with a private chef or cook or ask our teams to organise meals at the villa. House staff may also be available at some properties to assist with daily housekeeping and other practical aspects of the stay.

Trou d’Eau Douce lagoon plays a central role in life around the village. Boat trips to Île aux Cerfs are among the best-known activities in the area, while snorkelling, glass-bottom boat outings and other water activities provide different ways to explore the lagoon.
The village itself retains links with the island’s fishing traditions, with small boats in the harbour and local restaurants serving Mauritian and seafood dishes. Nearby beaches and coastal paths also offer quieter ways to spend time outdoors.
Further south, the Grande Rivière Sud-Est waterfall can be reached as part of certain boat trips, while the wider east coast combines beaches, lagoons and inland landscapes. Trou d’Eau Douce therefore works particularly well for travellers who want to combine time by the sea, outdoor activities and the privacy of a villa during their stay in Mauritius.
